Barcelona is situated on a extended plain, from the mountain to the sea, between the rivers Besos and Llobregat. The municipal area has a 1.5 million population, and the number is double in case we add the metropolitan area. Barcelona is the second large city from Spain and the capital of Catalonia region.

Barcelona has five masterpieces that belongs to UNESCO Patrimony:Park Guell, Güell Palace, Mila House or La Pedrera, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital.
To make the visit more easy, the city offers many special services, including buss tours (Touristic buss), Barcelona Card, Tichet Art, Art Nouveau Route and city-walk with guides. Barcelona has eleven thousand cabs identified in characteristic black&yellow color, or the public transportation with five metro lines network, or the 900 buses.
Also, the city has seven beaches, 4.5km of shore in total, were made to guest the Olimpic Games organization in the summer of 1992.

From all the Barcelona’s parks, Montjuic is the largest, 203 hectares, on the mountain with the same name. Is followed by the Ciutadella, where is also the zoo and many museums and the house of Parliament.

Barcelona has a few malls: L’Illa, Diagonala Mar, La Maquinista or Maremgnum.
You can see also, some skyscrapers, the talest are Hotel Arts and his twin or Torre Mapfre, bouth having 154m. Those are followed by Torre Agbar (144m).
